The fragrance of these flowers is absolutely intoxicating; a truly divine aroma, sure to put a smile on anyone's face! Native to Brazil, Brugmansia are used in Ayahuasca brews in very small quantities to enhance and add color to the shaman’s visions. Brugmansia are also known as tree datura, their huge blossoms hanging down from the rainforest above is an absolutely beautiful sight! The fragrance alone is enough to give you dreams, or nightmares! The active alkaloids consist of tropanes similar to that of datura. Due to its potency; Brugmansia is traditionally only used in the smallest of quantities and we cannot stress enough how dangerous this plant can be! Not for human consumption.
