Corynanthe yohimbe is an evergreen tree native to Western Africa, growing to a height of 90 feet (27 meters). Yohimbine, a constituent of Yohimbe bark, has been used for decades to aid erectile dysfunction and enhance libido. In fact, it is the only FDA approved aphrodisiac! It acts by increasing the availability of the neurotransmitters, noradrenaline and acetylcholine, which in turn increases the flow of blood through the penis, resulting in improved erection frequency, strength and stamina. Unlike Viagra, which only helps with erectile dysfunction, yohimbine affects sexual arousal in both men and women, causing more intense orgasms, enhanced desire for intercourse, and reduced sexual exhaustion.
The bark can be smoked or brewed as a tea. To brew, boil 6-10 teaspoons of bark for 10 minutes in 1 pt. water, strain, and sip slowly. The effect is potentiated by the addition of 500 mg of vitamin C per cup.
Active above 10mg's.
